Sky River Stargazing

the night bends inside of you;
babbling rivers
that speak to nothing and everything at all;

we hide ourselves behind each other...
alluding to the truth
the honest moments that have yet to unfold.

to find arms untangled for each other;
eyes that capture our minds
we try our best to hold it back;
with love we could save the world...

never glimpse the sun
for her beauty makes you blind
and scars your eyes;
something that could never change.

to see that stars are only very small
is to know the meaning of laughter

they burn with eyes closed
