Literature Text

i cry all day
and now i've drowned
in the settled dust,
and silence that squirms into the cracks.

i have to leave my skin today
its tightening and suffocating me,
my eyes stare,
and the mirror swallows my head...

i must climb to the sun,
to dim it's scorching rays...

the charring of sin
and braiding of smoke,
it kills this place...

take away my silly smile,
it's cracked and not mine,
my face will melt,
if i held it here too long.

fingers like trees,
long and wired...
shivered bones that break to themselves,

i could never be myself.

The Madman or (How We Were Driven Insane by a Useless Thought)
a narrative told from a character that has lost his grip on reality. it's essentially a commentary on how close we are to losing it ever moment of every day and how we are all technically mad, just hide it very very well....

this poem isn't a representation of myself, so dont think it is.
