Time Splashes Over

we were flying;
in immensely beautiful ways;
in between talking
we found ourselves inside of haze;

to feel this is to love perpetually
and as i walk to you
i am completed eternally

and your voice i wear
as a warm blanket over me
as the sunlight passes away...

eyes so caring and bright
reflecting visions of winter
springtime drizzling at night
the sounds we don't care to listen to...

she finds the world she left behind;
and all the things she could never see
and all the words we have left to never say...
in this moment things are in simplicity
and in silence, the shouting devils pass away.
